The DGCA in the State of Kuwait has the objective of upgrading and modernizing, to the latest technology, the Air Navigational System at the Kuwait International Airport. The major steps necessary to meet this objective are defined in the KASP.

The KASP recommends installation of the followings:

  2. ATC – Communication System (ATC/COMMS)
  3. Electrical Infrastructure & South Power Building (EI & SPB)
  4. Kuwait Control and Meteorological Centre Building (KCMC).
  5. Kuwait Airport Data Interchange Network (KADIN)
  6. Airport Surveillance Radar & ADS-B System (ASR)
  7. Instrument Landing System / Navigation Aids Systems (ILS/NAS)
  8. Meteorological Projects (MET Projects)
